Each year, Holy Family College presents several awards to alumni and one to the parent(s) of a current student in celebration of their accomplishments and commitment to our community. These awards are selected from nominations submitted by you – our respected faculty, staff and alumni. The Office of Advancement and External Relations is now accepting nominations for these awards and asks for your assistance in identifying prospective recipients in each of these categories:
⧠ Distinguished Alumni Award
Qualifications: The recipient of this award must have set a standard of excellence in his or her chosen field, must demonstrate significant professional achievement and must have made contributions to others through civic, humanitarian or religious activities.
⧠ Outstanding Recent Alumni Award
This award is presented to an alumnus or alumna who has held their degree for 10 years or less, and has distinguished him or herself through early excellence in their profession and service to the community.
⧠ Alumni Award for Excellence in Servant Leadership
Presented to an alumnus or alumna who, either individually or through the work of a group or organization, has shown forth excellence in servant leadership, who has applied the values that come to the college community in the tradition of Saints Francis and Clare, and who has critically and intentionally engaged the world by fostering a greater environment of mutual respect and concern for persons.
⧠ Alumni Award for Excellence in the Fine Arts
This award is presented to an alumnus or alumna who, whether by vocation or avocation, has made significant contributions to the visual or performing arts.
⧠ Distinguished Parents Award
This award is presented to a parent or parents of a current, traditional student whose efforts enrich the college and larger community not only for their own son or daughter, but for the benefit of all.
