Keeping Holy Family College safe

Our goal, first and foremost, is the safety of all members of our College family. We would ask all to practice the following precautions:

  Practice good hygiene

  • Practice safe social distances: 6 feet or 2 meters.
  • Avoid handshakes and other contact greetings
  • Wash your hands often throughout the day (use soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds) especially after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing, prior to preparing or eating food, after contact with animals or pets, and after using the restroom.
  • Cover your mouth with a flexed elbow or tissue when coughing or sneezing.
  • Disinfect surfaces and doorknobs

Be careful with meetings and travel

  • If you have traveled to a Level Three or Two area or you were recently on a cruise ship (you may view the CDC travel health notices at this link https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/index.html) or you believe you may have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus, we are requiring all to self-isolate for the recommended period of 14 days prior to returning to campus.

Stay home if you are feeling sick

  • Employees should notify RK Greening, director of human resources, at  rk.greening@holyfamilycollege.edu if you believe you need to self-isolate.
  • Students should notify Rachel Fischer, dean of students, at rachel.fischer@holyfamilycollege.edu if you believe you need to self-isolate.
  • If a residential student who is required to self-isolate cannot return home, you must email Rachel Fischer, dean of students, rachel.fischer@holyfamilycollege.edu and she will assist you with on-campus accommodations to do so.
  • Anyone with a respiratory or other health condition should take all necessary precautions and seek medical advice from a medical professional.

  • Stay home if a household member is sick
  • Wash hands frequently if caring for sick family members
